Expect a reply within a few days. If it's a "which detector should I buy" question, mention your budget, where you'll be hunting, and whether water is in your plans — those three things answer most of it.
Corrections
If something on this site is factually wrong, please say so. Include the page and what you think the correct information is, and if it checks out it gets fixed with the change noted on the page rather than quietly edited.
Review requests
Suggestions for machines to cover are welcome, particularly for detectors that are popular but under-reviewed. Note that suggesting a machine doesn't buy a favourable review — see How We Test.
Manufacturers and PR
Loaner units for review are considered. The terms are non-negotiable and stated up front: no copy approval, no editorial input, no guaranteed coverage, and the loan is disclosed on the resulting page. Payment in exchange for a rating or placement is declined.
